Bromheadia brevifoli

This small-sized, warm to cool-growing epiphytic orchid is native to Malaysia, Sumatra, and Borneo, where it thrives in lower montane forests at elevations of 600 to 1600 meters. It features a compressed stem with short spacing between its stiff, straight, elliptic leaves, which are laterally compressed and imbricating. The plant blooms throughout the year on a short, up to 1.1 cm long, inflorescence that may be branched or unbranched. The flowers appear successively, with up to 12 blooming over time.
