This mini-miniature orchid is found in Luzon, Philippines, growing in exposed lower montane forests at 1000–1200 meters. It has an erect, monopodial growth habit with 3 to 5 dark green, leathery, elliptic leaves that clasp the stem. Blooming in winter, it produces multiple short, axillary inflorescences, each 1–1.5 cm long, carrying 2 to 5 flowers.
