This small, hot-growing epiphytic orchid from Borneo thrives at elevations up to 300 meters. It has ellipsoid to orbicular pseudobulbs spaced 3 to 6 cm apart, each carrying a single elliptic to oblong leaf with a rounded tip. Blooming in summer, it produces a patent to somewhat pendulous inflorescence, 9 to 22 cm long, with two to five flowers per bloom, each accompanied by an acute floral bract.
