Bulbophyllum ecornutum

This miniature to small, hot to warm growing epiphyte is found in Thailand, Sumatra, Borneo, Bali, and Java at elevations of 400 to 1300 meters, often on limestone hills. It has a woody rhizome with pale green, ovoid pseudobulbs spaced 4 cm apart, each bearing a single, thin, linear-lanceolate leaf. Blooming in fall, it produces a 3 to 7 cm long, single-flowered inflorescence with fragrant flowers that smell like grapes. It thrives in partial shade, high humidity, and regular watering.
