This small, cool to warm growing epiphyte is found in Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, and Sumatra. It has a creeping rhizome with 2.5 cm spaced, oblong-ovoid, dull green pseudobulbs, each bearing a single, erect, narrowly lanceolate, fleshy leaf. Blooming in late fall to early winter, it produces a pale green, brown-red spotted, single-flowered inflorescence from both the rhizome and base. The flower stem is terete and carries three bracts in its lower half.
