This mini-miniature epiphyte is found in Peninsular Malaysia, Java, and Borneo at around 700 meters in lowland forests. It thrives in hot to warm conditions with a short stem and about three oblong, asymmetric, acute leaves that clasp at the base. Blooming from the axils, it produces a very short (4 mm) inflorescence with 3 to 4 flowers.
