Dendrobium anosmum

This large, pendulous cane orchid is native to Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea, growing in lower primary forests up to 1300m. It has arching stems up to 120 cm long, with deciduous, oblong-elliptic leaves. A hot to cool grower, it requires a dry period from October until early spring. In spring, it produces 8–10 raspberry-scented flowers along leafless canes. It thrives when mounted and needs heavy watering and fertilizing during its growth phase.
