This medium-sized orchid is native to Flores Island in the Lesser Sunda Islands, growing as a hot to warm epiphyte at elevations up to 600 meters. It has erect canes with several lanceolate, acute leaves. Blooming in late spring to early summer, it produces arching to pendulous inflorescences with several to many flowers.
