Dendrobium hagerupii

This small orchid is native to Sumatra, growing as a hot to cool epiphyte at elevations from sea level to 1,450 meters. It has flattened stems with fleshy, curved, obliquely triangular leaves that narrow towards the apex. Blooming from the stem apex or axils, it produces short, nodding, curved inflorescences up to 1 cm long, bearing successively one to two flowers at a time.
