Dendrobium henryi

This orchid is found in China, Vietnam, and Thailand, growing in montane forests at 600 to 1,700 meters as a small to medium-sized, warm to cool epiphyte or terrestrial-lithophyte. It has cylindrical, angled stems with many thin, deciduous oblong-lanceolate leaves. Blooming from late spring to early fall, it produces slender inflorescences 2 to 5 cm long, emerging from the nodes of leafless canes, each carrying one to three fragrant flowers.
