Bulbophyllum lasiochilum

This mini-miniature to miniature epiphyte is found in India, Myanmar, Thailand, and Malaysia, thriving in moist montane and seasonally dry forests. It grows in warm to cool conditions, featuring cylindro-ovate pseudobulbs with a single oblong-obovate leaf. Blooming in the fall, it produces solitary or umbelled flowers on a short, slender inflorescence emerging from a mature pseudobulb. The fragrant flowers, with a sweet strawberry scent, are held just below or above the leaves, adding charm to this tiny species.
