Bulbophyllum coniferum

This small, cool to cold-growing epiphyte is found in Malaysia, Java, Sumatra, and Borneo at elevations of 1000 to 2500 meters in mossy lower montane forests. It has close-set, oblong-ovoid pseudobulbs with a single, thick, elliptic leaf. Blooming from spring through fall, it produces an erect, 10 to 30 cm (4 to 12 inches) long inflorescence with 20 to 120 flowers arranged in a nodding, densely flowered, bottle-brush-shaped rachis.
