Bulbophyllum flavofimbriatum

This miniature to small, hot to warm growing epiphyte is found in Borneo’s lower montane and podosol forests at 800 to 1500 meters. It has elliptic, compressed pseudobulbs with a single, thick, ovate, dark green, petiolate leaf. Blooming in spring and fall, it produces a short, 1 cm long, single-flowered inflorescence with tubular floral bracts. The flowers are unscented.
