This mini-miniature, cool-growing epiphyte is found in Yunnan, China, and Vietnam at elevations of 1450–1500 meters. It has clustered, multi-angled, olive-green pseudobulbs spaced 3 cm apart, each carrying a single, fleshy, broadly oblong-elliptic to ovate leaf. Blooming in spring, it produces a short, 2 cm long basal inflorescence with a small umbel of fragrant flowers.
