Bulbophyllum reticulatum

This hot-growing lithophytic orchid is found in Borneo’s lowland hill forests on limestone. It has oblong to ovoid pseudobulbs spaced far apart along the rhizome and carries a single, reticulated, lined leaf. Blooming in summer and fall, it produces a short, two-flowered inflorescence with large sheathing bracts. The flowers are fleshy and fragrant, adapted to its unique limestone habitat. This species thrives in warm conditions, making it well-suited to its tropical environment.
